To gradually accumulate, simply buy a few extra, of your usual thins, while you shop for your groceries. Just a few more thins each time. Little by little, they will accumulate until they are enough to last your family 1 month.
Save your PETE bottles, as you consume the inwards of them. Those are to be used to store your water.
